On The Farm

• Hand feed animals: chickens, ducks, miniature horses, alpacas, and sheep
• Bottle feed: lambs, kids & calf's (seasonal)
• Try your hand as milking a goat or cow (seasonal)
• Join the farmer / host as they move livestock around the farm
• Have a taste of being a mini Jackaroo / Jillaroo as a family
• Take a walk around the property, making sure you take your binoculars and camera with you.
• Set yourself up for some tripod photography for some stunning sunrises, sunsets and astrophotography
• Relax or read a book under a shady tree or by the dam
• Please allow time-out (share time) or space for any stock or Wildlife that may need to drink water out of dams. Do-not Scare them.
• Take the family on a picnic in the paddock

This is why our property is not just a Primitive Camp site but a retreat to have family time while enjoying the native wildlife and Fauna or enjoying the stars at night, check out the farm animals with the owners and learn more about our farm, communicating with other guests on the property or not, or just enjoying the peacefulness and reboot, catch a read or just rest.

• Our Working Farm boasts a number of options to do, you can interact with the property owners on their walks through out the property while checking on the livestock, learn about what in preparing the morning or evening animal meals,
• Have a chance to learn how to Milk or brush a Goat so the baby kids can be feed,
• Have a selfie with an Alpaca, Goat or horse and an adorable young woolie sheep, feel these farm animal coats on how soft they are, hang around for the tutorial that?s given by the property owners, ask questions if you like.
• Some weekends we make homemade Cheeses or Preserve and Soaps, you can watch or participate if you like so you can take home the knowledge of what you have learnt.
• Coming Soon: You can learn how vegetables are grown and planted or pick your own to purchase for lunch in the vegi garden or orchard (seasonal). Or how to build a Vegetable garden including fencing.
• The property owners can also take everyone around spot lighting and explain the wildlife after dark or have a start gazing or Aussie Poem reading night.
• Some weekends we will put on an open air movie night.
• Dj Night or a professional Karaoke night weather permitting. (You can prepay and pre book Entertainment for a large group booking of friends or special occasion.
• We can organise a small bus pick-up for large group booking for traveling to Mt Kosiosco Mountain (Smiggins, Thredbow, Persisure), or other location in NSW through snow season to take you up skiing or bike riding for the day and pick you up at the end of the day saving you taking lots of cars or driving tied, Prepay Pre Booked at time of booking tent site.
